Information you provide
When you create an account, we process your email address, an internal account identifier, nickname, and generated avatar seed. Community activity can include bathroom visits, ratings, reviews, comments, votes, saved bathrooms, bathroom submissions and their public venue locations, Bathroom Buddy relationships, high fives, reports, blocks, and moderation records. If you contact support, we process the message and contact information you provide.
Location
With permission, DumpNDash uses your current location on your device to center the map and show nearby bathrooms. DumpNDash does not upload or store your live device location. A bathroom address or map pin that you intentionally submit is stored as public venue information and may be associated with your account as a contribution. You can deny location permission and search or enter an address manually.
Technical information
Our hosting and authentication provider may process network and security information such as IP address, request time, authentication events, and error details to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service. If you enable push notifications, we store an Apple-issued device notification token, your notification preferences, and your time zone so alerts can be delivered at the time you choose. The token is not displayed publicly and is removed when you sign out on that device or delete your account. DumpNDash also stores preferences and cached community data locally on your device.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts; provide maps, profiles, rankings, social features, and notifications; sync activity between devices; prevent spam and abuse; investigate reports; enforce community rules; provide support; and maintain service reliability and security. We do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
What other users can see
Your nickname, Digi-Dumper avatar, public statistics, awards, bathroom contributions, reviews, ratings, and comments may be visible to other users. Your email address, password, Bathroom Buddy code, personal block list, and precise live location are not displayed publicly. Buddy codes should still be shared only with people you trust.
Service providers
Supabase provides database hosting, authentication, realtime updates, and account services. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, Apple Maps, and App Store distribution. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We require providers handling DumpNDash data to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.
Retention and deletion
We retain account data and community activity while your account is active and as needed to operate and secure DumpNDash. Delete your account in Profile → Account → Delete My Account. Deletion removes your profile, relationships, visits, reviews, votes, and contributed bathrooms from the active service. Limited security records or backup copies may remain temporarily where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Your choices
You may use read-only Peruse in Privacy mode without an account, deny location or notification access, choose which DumpNDash alerts you receive, edit your nickname and avatar, remove Bathroom Buddies, block users, report content, or delete your account. Contact us about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request. Rights vary by location.
Children
DumpNDash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this website.
